One Network's Real Time Value Network to improve patient service levels via supply chain and logistics management of HIV/AIDS medicines.

The Rwanda Ministry of Health has partnered with One Network, for which e-Logics is the official hosting and solutions provider in Africa. Its Real Time Value Network (RTVN™) solution will improve the provisioning, inventory control and distribution of critical HIV/AIDS medicines and other pharmaceutical products.

One Network was chosen by the Health Ministry for its ability to connect and orchestrate all participants in the medical distribution process, ensuring that district pharmacies and health facilities avoid stock shortages of HIV/AIDS drugs and other essential medicines, and that patients are better served.

"The provisioning and distribution of drugs, vaccines and consumables constitutes one of the essential support systems for delivering health services in Rwanda. Through this central supply facility, the Ministry will be able to provide better patient service levels to hospitals, clinics and other dispensing locations," says e-Logics Managing Director Johann van der Westhuizen.

Through One Network's Real Time Value Network, e-Logics is an enabler of responsive and agile supply chains. "One Network has spent ten years developing and implementing powerful technology that has repeatedly proven to increase profitability, improve service and reduce
inventory. This decision by the Rwanda Health Ministry is significant for us," he concludes.
